The Expedition
Kesgrave High School Sixth Form has a proud records of encouraging our students to "look beyond" their academic studies and has, in the past, provided opportunities for teams to travel to South Africa and Greece to participate in conservation projects and for their own personal development.
In July 2012, a team from Kesgrave High School Sixth Form will once again be travelling, this time to a small village near Livingstone, Zambia, to take part in a community project. The expedition will see the team of students research, fundraise and then lead an 11 day expedition, with a focus on sustainable development.
This expedition will allow students to develop communication, team work and leadership skills and will give them a unique opportunity to develop these skills further whilst on expedition in an unfamiliar environment. Skills that we believe will help them through their remaining studies and in later life.
